Leasing and consulting project for the acquisition and management of 15 heavy construction equipment units.
The client, an expanding infrastructure firm, urgently needed to modernize its machinery fleet with 15 equipment units (excavators, bulldozers, cranes) to win a major tender. The investment budget was limited, and direct purchase was not feasible. A flexible financing solution and an accurate evaluation of the proposed used assets for part-exchange were required.
We implemented a three-stage strategy: Technical and Financial Evaluation of the client's used equipment to determine their trade-in value; Structuring an Operational Leasing Package with flexible repayment, aligned with the project's cash flow; and Providing Consultancy for the lifecycle management of the new assets, including training for the logistics team.
We facilitated the connection with 3 verified machinery suppliers from the usedload platform. We coordinated the inspection and evaluation process for 8 of the client's used machines, establishing a fair market value. We negotiated the leasing terms for the 15 new equipment units with a partner financial institution, integrating the value of the old assets as a down payment. We organized a fixed asset management workshop for the client's team.
Leasing contract signed for 15 new machinery units, with a 40% reduction in the required down payment due to the accurate valuation of the old assets.
The client won the infrastructure contract, estimated at 2.5 million EUR, due to the technical capacity demonstrated by the new vehicle fleet.
Over 200 companies in the construction industry and beyond choose usedload for financing and managing their assets.
